The deep seated stigma that surround sex work adversely affects the children of sex workers. After engaging in a dialogue with sex workers in Karnataka who are mothers. Solidarity Foundation is now in the process of chalking out a program that will be designed to suit the needs of children of sex workers. It will cover aspects like education and housing, so as to ensure the mothers feel secure about the safety and wellbeing of their children. We also intend to make available psycho social support to mothers who wish to let their children know about their occupation.
